Brandon has been the main operator of Reelsounds for five years, and has been making records for twelve.
Discovering original sounds is one of his favorite activities. He’s worked with artists like Dissonant Dessert, Late Nite Laundry, Peter Erskine, Marbin, Frank Catalano, and many more.

Steve Marek
Steve has been making records from both sides of the glass for the past 15 years. He has worked with artists including Nnamdï, Marquis Hill, Lynyn, and Joshua Virtue, while also writing and performing in Monobody and Holy Western Parallels.
His approach to making records is shaped by being a musician first and foremost -- focusing on serving arrangments and making engineering decisions through a creative/aesthetic lens, while keeping technical distractions out of the way. (However, if you are interested in tubes, transformers, microphone characteristics, or learning any stage of the craft, he will spill the beans for longer than you bargained for).
In addition to engineering at Reelsounds, he also operates his own Chicago recording space, Cybernetic Meadow, where he focuses on mixing, mastering, vocal recording, and overdub work. It's an ideal companion studio for projects that require world-class tracking at Reelsounds, with mixing and mastering completed in an even more affordable space.
